- Cut/Paste
- Landscape keyboard works in email, notes, and messages
- Multi-media texts. AT&T will be ready to support MMS later this summer
- Single search. You can search calendars, music, notes and email. Spotlight coming too
- iTunes to allow rental and purchase of movies from the iPhone. Also, TV shows, music videos and audio books. Over 3G
- Tethering allows you to share you iPhone internet connection with a PC. AT&T will support tethering later this year.
- Web browser is now almost 3 times faster
- Support for HTTP streaming audio and video. Bitrate and data quality adjust to connection speed
- Autofill allows you to optionally remember usernames and passwords
- Find My iPhone is a “service” that’s available to MobileMe customers. It’ll show you on a map where your phone is. Also useful for your family/friends to track you down. You can also send it a remote wipe command and will erase all your data and keep your private data private.
- Push Notifictions: Apple now allows custom push notifications
iPhone 3GS!
- S stands for speed. 2x faster than 3G
- The new 3GS includes a 3MP autofocus camera
- Autofocus, Autoexposure. Tap to Focus, too, allowing you to focus and change white balance on the fly.
- It also captures video. 30FPS VGA with auto focus
- Voice Control. “call Jay Ramirez”, “Play songs by Ace of Base.” (you know you do)
- Built-in digital compass
- Built-in support for Nike+
- 40% improved battery life
- $99 for 8GB 3G, $199 16GB 3GS, $299 32GB 3GS
