Johnny Allen Hendrix would have been 66 years old this Thursday. As the guitar legend Jimi Hendrix, he took electric blues riffs to psychedelic levels. During his short life he won many of the most prestigious rock-n-roll honors. In 2003, Rolling Stone Magazine placed him at the top of their list of the 100 greatest guitarist of all time.

This photo I believe was one of many out of a shoot for Rolling Stone Magazine. They may have sold the original rights, but photo was from 60’s shoot in London I believe.
