Great Collection of Old Timer Lithography Posters

Ran across a great site with a ton of these old posters. I love the hand drawn fonts. I also love that idea that since every­thing was so dif­fi­cult to do, they seemed to do every­thing with more care. In our 30 layer pho­to­shop, 4,000 fonts, emailed PDF world, we tend to over cook things. Also con­sider that these posts were extremely expen­sive and took weeks to make. When the stakes are that high, your much more likely to take care pick­ing your design firm and trust­ing their exper­tise. I think today’s inno­va­tion opens design up to some folks that should leave those adobe apps to the pros.
