I’ve always absolutely loved neon signs. I like the winding tubes with blacked out sections and crazy mounting hooks that all come together to make a really simple image. I also really appreciate the fact that with all the technology we have for displaying graphics, it still takes a craftsman with the years of skill to make a good sign work.
So obviously I’m pretty excited about this:

Andrews sponsored the 2008 Cattle Baron’s Ball. (for all you non-Texans, that’s good hearted cow pokes rasin’ money for cancer research) As part of the decoration they decided to display their new logo as a giant beer sign. We’re very impress with the craftsmanship on the sign and super proud to see the logo in neon lights! This is also one of the first times the Andrews logo has been reproduced without our supervision so we are very pleased to see that it is holding up so well on its first solo flight. Hat’s off to Mike and his team over at Andrews for continuing to do such a great job with the brand.

I guess I’ll never be in a band and hear my song on the radio or see my name on a broadway marquee sign, but a logo I designed has been made into a neon beer sign… that’s pretty good.

Rob:
Not sure. I assume Dallas since Andrews is here. This is a link to all the photos: http://www.andrewsdistributing.com/CB2008/Page.html
Maybe that will help you figure it out?
