Good Strategy, Great Design, and Justice for All

Despite our Texas roots, we are strictly city slickers here at the Marblehead Ranch. We get around with European cars not horses, we carry smart phones instead of six shooters, and we’re more likely to get bitten by a pothole than a rattle snake. However when the good people at Cowgirl Justice called for design work, we had to drag out our best John Wayne impressions. We even learned a bit about ladies fashion.

The first time we talked to Cowgirl Justice, they needed help getting ready for a big show selling their fall collection of t-shirts and accessories to vendors. In the begining, we didn’t know much about woman’s fashion and less about cowgirls, but after a few meetings and a crash course in barrel racing culture, we know enough to get the job done. I even took a quick trip over to the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Ft. Worth for a little research.

Since that first job, we’ve helped them carry forward their brand in print materials and advertising. Recently, we even got in on the product game designing their Summer t-shirt line. A few of our initial designs were very well received, but in the end, deemed too racy. (hell yeah!) However, one made it though the sensors and is on sale now. We’ve very proud of Cowgirl Justices’ progress and wish them tons more success in the future. We’re forever grateful to them for bringing out our dusty rugged alter ego. I am still scared of horses though.

Here’s a sample of the work we’ve done so far:

They were even nice enough to pen a quick testimonial singing the praises of all things Marblehead:

Cowgirl Justice Apparel is a new line of women’s specialty clothing. During our debut in 2007, Cowgirl Justice required marketing, branding and design support to help build awareness. It was a relief to be able to call upon the marketing professionals at Marblehead Consulting and to be able to quickly execute an eye popping design to generate awareness for our new line. It takes a special talent to listen to the client and fully understand the need; then make recommendations to hone the client’s direction into the absolute sweet-spot approach; and finally, to execute a design that catches the attention of the audience and communicates the Brand so clearly. We cannot adequately describe the reaction and attention we received from the marketing pieces Marblehead created. Our business continues to grow and we know that growth has a steeper curve because of the brand execution of Marblehead Consulting.

Thanks for your great work guys; Just to add a few follow-up observations, the Cowgirl Revolution shirt shown here in navy has been the second most popular shirt of the entire Summer line. And if anyone is able to come to Apparel Market at the World Trade Center, you will be blown away when you get off the escalators on 12 when you see the eye popping banner beaconing buyers to our booth. Let’s do more!
