We Lost a Good One: Rest in Peace Bo Diddley

We lost an Amer­i­can legend. Bo Did­dley died at his home with his family sur­round­ing him singing the gospel song “Walk Around Heaven.”

He was famous in his own right, but his influ­ence on music for the past 40 years is amaz­ing. Just a few of the great groups of our time who were influ­enced by Did­dley songs: Bruce Spring­steen, U2, The Smiths, David Bowie, The Police, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Clash, The Velvet Under­ground.
