About This Blog

The Marblehead blog was created as a conversational tool between our clients, peers, and friends. Its focus is not on selling, but as a reflection of the things we are passionate about. Our thought is if we focus on the things we are passionate about, the business end of Marblehead will take care of itself. Our blog is not like most blogs. We have more than one focus. Structured like a newspaper, below is an explanation of each section.

Front Page
The Front page is similar to that of a standard newspaper. It does not have every story, but those that we consider important enough to ‘feature’ for our readers. They represent significant events across all other sections. The front page will update less frequently than other sections and adhere more strictly to our business.

Strategy Section
We define strategy as “determining where to go” in the business, a project, or with a customer’s experience. Strategy provides direction and leadership and is less concerned with the details of how it will be accomplished. This section will feature case studies on helping our customers from a strategic perspective and our opinions on where the marketing industry is (or should be) headed.

Design Section
The design section will showcase work from our creative team. We will also feature news from the design world and significant work  in identity, print and web development from other firms. In addition to sharing news, we will often share the things that are inspiring our team right now. This includes art museums, concerts, books, and lectures.

Technology Section
The technology will provide the details of how we delight our customers by making things work. From outstanding technical achievements, to technical shortcuts, to those little technical things that make our lives easier and more enjoyable.

Now that you understand us a little better, we invite you to join the conversation and make the Marblehead Blog a great community of those involved in making our customers delighted in us, our work, and our companies. Enjoy!

Hello, I just recently found your blog and after spending a few hours with it this morning I have to say I’m very impressed with your content. I think you present some very good thoughts and observations, and I really admire your approach to design and marketing and the strategies behind them. Your blog is very much inspiration for me, I run a small design studio and just started a blog of my own (my first). I’ll be sure to check back often! Thanks.
